Wedding Worthy Lawn Games

Having Lawn Games at your wedding is an easy and fun way to keep your guests entertained throughout your cocktail hour and reception. Guests can mingle, complete, and just have a great time. Let's face it though - not all Lawn Games have a "perfect for your wedding" look to them.

Then I saw these and thought - Exactly!

I love the wooden sign with fancy writing on it, and placing it in the flower barrel adds that "wedding" touch. Having the Bocce Ball set be metallic - amazing! It's pretty and functional all together!

Are you having Lawn Games at your wedding? Are you doing anything to make them more "wedding worthy?" Comment and tell us how!

Amanda & Craig

I have to say - we love, love, LOVE it when couples choose amazing vendors for their weddings! We truly had an awesome team to work with for Amanda & Craig's big day in March - from Sweetwater, to Wayne's World Entertainment, to Dream Day Cakes, and now Rob Witzel Photography! We wanted to show you some of the fantastic images they captured of the day. Rob was so sweet to share them with us and we had to pass them along to you!

Sweetwater Branch Inn is one of our favorite venues here in town - the gardens are beautiful and Lauren, Sarah and the rest of the staff are a joy!

One of the great things about Sweetwater too, is it's the perfect place for you and your bridal party to stay before and after the wedding. The rooms are gorgeous and are great for those getting ready shots. Take a look and see what I mean:

By the way - I adore corset back gowns! Amanda's was beautiful too (and that sash!!). Wedding Planner tip - they take time to lace up though! Make sure you give yourself an extra ten to fifteen minutes to get the job done on the wedding day.

Amanda & Craig chose not to see each other before the big moment, so we sneaked her around the back while Craig waited by the garden path.

This was during one of our crazy cold snaps this past spring and it was freezing! The heaters outside kept all the guests toasty for cocktails and Craig's family made a gorgeous cornhole set for guests to play and have fun with. The bridal party got in on the action of course too!

Craig's toast was emotional and so sweet!

Paintball Bachelorette Party

I thought this was perfect for a little Friday Fun - Paintball Bachelorette Party!!!!!

You can't get more awesome or unique than this, right?!!

The ladies were told to come in the worst bridesmaid dress they could find (you know the ones you "can completely wear again") and it was time to get crazy! Yes, they were in heels! And, yes, the bride got in on the action with a vintage 70's inspired gown of her own!

Mason Jar Fingerprint Guest Book

While perusing one of my favorite photography blogs, Verve Studio, I found this great new twist on the Fingerprint Guest book!

Mason Jar Guest Book via Verve Studio
Mason Jars are everywhere in weddings right now, but this is the first time I've seen them as a guest book. How perfect is this for a summer wedding?! I love how each guest can draw in their own little firefly too!

And if your wedding is outdoors during firefly season, why not create a Firefly Catching Station? How much fun would it be to have your guests running around catching fireflies? You could set up a table with all different size jars with pre-punched lids, an adorable sign, and have your guests go to town.

What do you think?

Wedding Lawn Games

Everyone wants guests to have a great time and be entertained throughout their wedding day. Lawn games are a fun and popular way to do this if you have a grassy area at your cocktail hour or reception.

I loved this fantastic wedding version of corn toss found on Emmaline Bride via Style My Corntoss on Etsy!

Everyone loves a great game of Corn Toss. Completely color customizable, these are SO adorable and a super fun ice-breaker for guests. How cute are the corn toss bags?!

Style My Corntoss has other versions as well, including Mr. & Mrs. with lips and mustache!

How much fun would these be at your wedding?
