Megan & Daniel's Ranch Wedding

Megan & Daniel got married this year at C Bar Ranch in Alachua, Florida. We were honored to get to help them plan and coordinate their day, from start to finish. You could not find a sweeter couple anywhere, or any two people more on the same team and supportive of each other.

It didn't matter what 2020 threw at us, we powered on and Megan and Daniel kept their amazing positive outlooks through it all. We ended up postponing their day due to Covid and once we were finally able to celebrate (smaller guest count and all) there were only smiles from ear to ear on everyone present. It didn't even matter that an African dust storm showed up or some wedding day sprinkles, nothing clouded over their shine.

We got to work with an amazing team of vendors on their day as well! Celebrations Catering took care of all the rentals, dinner and dessert bar. The Plant Shoppe Florist created the stunning floral arrangements and arbor decorations. Genius Entertainment kept the dance floor full and rocking the whole evening. Sugar Refined provided their beautiful cake, and everything was set off in the gorgeous location of C Bar Ranch. 

I also can't say enough about the talented artists that captured their day - CWP Photography and Heart Happy Films. Having true professionals for your photography and videography are SO, SO important. Just take a look at this unbelievable wedding film! 

Megan's dad's toast gets me all teary every time I watch it. I just adore how Heart Happy Films was able to expertly capture all the emotion and fun their day held. Walking through the memories of their wedding while I watched had me grinning like crazy and wiping tears all at the same time!

Allison and Shivan's wedding was one for the books for us! Not only are they THE sweetest, most caring, perfectly suited for each other couple, but it was set at one of our favorite locations and had a team of absolutely fantastic wedding professionals we love working with.

So, Allison & Shivan have a thing for all thing superheros and totally nerd-tastic! It's been a part of their entire relationship and I adored how they incorporated it in so many fun and totally unique ways throughout their day.

Their wedding was at one of our all-time favorite venues in the area - Santa Fe River Ranch! It's a simply stunning backdrop for a wedding...rolling hills, majestic oaks, gorgeous barn and fantastic owners.

Isn't Allison's bouquet breathtaking?! The Plant Shoppe did an awesome job! I love how happy and bright it is with all the textures!

Allison collected wine bottles for months to arrange the centerpieces herself. Celebrations Catering provided the beautiful linens and decor, as well as the delicious food!

Amazing Lip Snyc'd Wedding Video

Sounds crazy right? Seriously though - I loved every minute of this! What an awesome way to record your wedding! But, of course, Platinum Digital Video is completely amazing always, so I'm not surprised! They are truly one of our favorites to work with, and we do a little happy dance every time we get to!

This would be so much fun to watch years down the road - could you imagine how much your kids will love it too?! Platinum Digital Video filmed their ceremony as well for DVD, so the couple's got the best of both worlds. They'll have a traditional video of their ceremony with a totally rocking record of the entire day. How many couples can say they have video of all their guests playing air guitar?!

Technology and Weddings

Since most of us are glued to our cell phones and flock to any new technology out there, we decided to talk about some of the most unique and fun ways we found to incorporate technology into your wedding. Not only can they add to your guests' overall experience, but they can give you and your hubby incredible memories of this special day.

Wedit sends the wedding couple 5 HD cameras in the mail 3 days before the wedding weekend. The couple passes them out to wedding guests to record all the fun festivities, and the couple returns the cameras to Wedit to edit. Wedit then edits the footage into a video! What a fun way for guests to share their unique memories and perspectives of your wedding!

Wedding Snap is another cool way to capture all your guests different experiences. It's a great way for couples to get a scrapbook of memories and engage guests in a fun activity. All your guests have to do is download this app, and you'll automatically get all the photos they take at your wedding collected in an online album from the app! Guests can even upload any digital images they took with their cameras after the event.
