A Clark Plantation Wedding

Taylor and Justin had it all on their wedding day - a picture perfect venue, tons of personalized details, a heartfelt ceremony, and a lively reception full of dancing and laughter. It was such a wonderful day to be a part of, even with the windy weather trying to undo everything behind the scenes!

Clark Plantation is an all-in-one venue with a ceremony space, a reception hall, a bridal suite, and plenty of land for parking and picture taking. It sets the stage for a relaxed day, from the time hair and makeup starts to the last guest's departure.

Taylor and her bridal party had their hair and makeup done by Miriah Maxwell, while the groomsmen hung out in their own private room to prepare for the day. The bridesmaids were dressed in emerald green, with the maid of honor in a sparkly champagne dress. The bride's stunning dress is from Sincerely, The Bride. The groom has his special accessories as well. To see detail shots of his unique feathered bow tie, check out the Ivey Pictures' post, featuring all the stunning images from the day.

During the ceremony, Taylor emerged from behind a set of doors placed at the end of the aisle, perfect for the big reveal of the bride to the groom and guests. And while the groom didn't see her before this big moment, she did celebrate a very special first look with her grandfather, who also walked her down the aisle. Just look at that smile on his face!

The ceremony was performed by the bride's aunt, which added a personal touch. Having a family member or a friend as an officiant means your ceremony will be unlike any other and can be completely tailored to the couple. Masterpiece Weddings was also thrilled to be reunited with Wendy, and her husband Ron (pictured below), the mother of the groom and a wedding we got to be a part of two years ago!

While photos of the wedding party were underway, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour featuring a massive charcuterie displayed on a horizontal full length mirror. A show-stopping (and delicious) centerpiece is a great way to keep guests happy while you pose, and Masterpiece Weddings was sure to snag food and drinks for the bride and groom to have between pictures!

The venue was adorned with all sorts of personal details, like custom koozies, handmade signs featuring Disney quotes and their wedding hashtag #KientzYouFeelTheLoveTonight, a gorgeous three tired cake, and a display of cards made by Justin's students wishing him good luck and congratulations on his marriage (aww!).

A fun way to get extra photos and not miss out on any hidden moments at your wedding is to instruct your guests with a hashtag and social media prompt to post their own photos! This is especially helpful for venues such as Clark Plantation, where there is a lot of wedding space to cover. Plus, the hashtag provides you and your spouse a fun trip down memory lane later down the road!

The night progressed through dinner, first dances, and into a full fledged party, with the bride and groom at the center of the dance floor!

Towards the very end of the night, we had the guests line the sidewalk for a beautiful sparkler exit. If you still need a selling point for hiring a wedding planner, just consider who will light 75 sparklers for your epic photoshoot!

Just because you take exit photos doesn't mean your wedding is over, and it certainly wasn't for Justin and Taylor, who continued to celebrate their nuptials with their family and friends for the rest of the night.

We had an amazing time begin a part of Justin and Taylor's wedding, and we wish the best of luck to this amazing couple!

One more big thanks to our vendors...
